RouterMaster The RouterMaster has been steadily improved over the past 15 years. Recently, however we decided to include some major changes. The construction principle is the same but the vertical column and base are of heavier and larger construction. The main bearing sets are more heavily constructed as well and wrap around the steel shafts more than previously, this has added greatly to rigidity and improved the appearance of the RouterMaster considerably.
We manufacture to a high standard of quality, all parts are machined by us on our own computer controlled milling and turning centers which gives outstanding accuracy to all parts. RouterMaster Gallery A major feature of the Router master is the very precise rack and gear controlled plunge lever which is completely controlled by one hand, and when this is locked, both hands can safely control the work being processed. A wide range of saws, routers and drills are easily and firmly mounted to this plunge lever. Indexing of angles on the vertical shaft is incremented every 15 degrees, up to 45 degrees each way, with a full 360 degrees of rotation available, lockable at any point. RouterMaster is designed to allow you to set up jobs very quickly and accurately, it is very easy and safe to use, in fact there are a great number of Routermasters being used in schools operated by children. The Routermaster is widely used; some examples being fine woodworkers, secondary schools, Tafe colleges and Universities, many are used for musical instrument manufacture including; guitars, violins, pianos and harpsichords. They are used widely in industry because of their versatility and price. Routermaster is also popular with hobbyists and people looking for a new challenge in retirement.
The smallest Routermaster has an out feed cut of 600mm ranging to a 1300mm cut version which includes a support stand. Special size units are no problem. We have made Routermasters with up to a 3000mm long out feed cut. |
